Pastry Pizza
An adjustable and speedy recipe to try with youngsters or for that quick snack/lunch
Ingredients
- Pastry World’s Puff Pastry 5” Squares
- Tomato puree
- Sriracha chilli sauce
- Ketchup
- Mayonnaise
- Eggs
- Spinach
- Cream cheese
- Cherry tomatoes
- Mozzarella cheese
Method
- Using a sharp knife, mark out a border approximately 1.5cm from the edge of your square pastries.
- Carefully score the surface of the puff pastry without cutting all the way through
- Prick the centre area with a fork. Give the edges an egg wash for a nice golden shine
- Place the squares on a non-stick tray
- Spread the sauces of your choice over the middle of each square
- Scatter a few dollops of the cream cheese, halved cherry tomatoes and torn spinach over the pastry
- Sprinkle the cheese on top
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 15 – 20 minutes or until the pastry is golden and crispy.
