Pastry Pizza

An adjustable and speedy recipe to try with youngsters or for that quick snack/lunch

Ingredients

  • Pastry World’s Puff Pastry 5” Squares
  • Tomato puree
  • Sriracha chilli sauce
  • Ketchup
  • Mayonnaise
  • Eggs
  • Spinach
  • Cream cheese
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Mozzarella cheese

Method

  1. Using a sharp knife, mark out a border approximately 1.5cm from the edge of your square pastries.
  2. Carefully score the surface of the puff pastry without cutting all the way through
  3. Prick the centre area with a fork. Give the edges an egg wash for a nice golden shine
  4. Place the squares on a non-stick tray
  5. Spread the sauces of your choice over the middle of each square
  6. Scatter a few dollops of the cream cheese, halved cherry tomatoes and torn spinach over the pastry
  7. Sprinkle the cheese on top
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 15 – 20 minutes or until the pastry is golden and crispy.
