Cheesy Chicken & Potato Pastries

A delicious side for any meal, packed with flavourful veggies and (everyone’s favourite) melted cheese – Makes 24 small or 16 large individual pastries
Ingredients:
  • Pastry World Puff Pastry Rolled Sheets / Pastry World Puff Pastry 5” Squares
  • 1 large / 2 small chicken breasts, chopped into small pieces
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp green masala
  • ½ white onion
  • 1 tsp green masala
  • ½ red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ cup sweetcorn
  • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • ½ pack grated 4 cheese blends
  • 1 egg
Method
  1. Cook the chicken in butter, salt and green masala – dry out and keep aside
  2. Soften the onion in butter, add green masala and bell pepper. Cook for 5 minutes until the ingredients are well softened
  3. Add salt and sweetcorn and mix – set aside this mix
  4. Boil the potatoes in salted water for 10 minutes and drain
  5. Combine the 3 different mixes together
  6. Once cooled, add in the cheese and mix well
  7. Fill your chosen pastry with the mix and brush with an egg wash
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at Gas Mark 7 (220°C / 200°C Fan) until golden
